Funding
When you decide that care and support service is needed for your loved one or yourself at home, it is important to know how your chosen service will be funded. You may choose to pay for the care service by yourself privately; however, you may, subject to your financial circumstances, be entitled to funding support.
Private Customers
People, who choose to fund their homecare services privately, should contact us to arrange an initial meeting to discuss your needs and preference.
Once we understand more about you - your needs, requirements and preference, we will draw up with you a personalised support plan. This is to ensure you receive the services you choose, and when you want them.
Fund Support Customers
If you think you may be entitled to funding support for care services at home, please contact us and we will be happy to support you to contact your local social services for an assessment of your community care needs.
If you have already been assessed by your local social services as eligible for social care support, you are likely to be allocated some care funding which may be given to you in the form of Direct Payments, Personal Budgets, or Individual Budgets. Regardless of these different phrases, the care funding is for you to make choice and control over your care arrangement.
Cost
Cost is usually based upon an hourly rate and dependent on time and the frequency of visits
